                        Professors/Readers/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer Is/Lecturer IIs/ Assistant Lecturers
  Professors/Readers/Senior Lecturers are required in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial chemistry, Geology, Computer Science, Physics & Electronics and Information Communication Technology, while Lecturer Is/Lecturer IIs/Assistant Lecturers are needed in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Physics & Geology.

B.         QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR ACADEMIC POSITIONS
            i           Professor (ACUTSS 07): N522,924.00 - 753,543.00
A good bachelors degree and a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and at least 12 years of teaching and (or) research experience in a university or institution of collateral status.  Evidence of substantial scholarly publications in reputable outlets and ability to initiate and develop courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as initiate and supervise research Programmes and adequate administrative exposure
are required. Candidates who are computer literate and with considerable consultancy experience with national and multinational agencies would have an advantage.

            ii          Reading (ACUTSS 06): N468,201.00 - 672,412.00
                        Same as for Professor except that the candidate should have at least 10 years of teaching and (or) research experience.

            iii.        Senior Lecturer (ACUTES 05): N420,060.00 - 645,528.00
A good honors degree and a Ph.D. degree plus at least six (6) years teaching and (or) research experience in a university or comparable institution.  Ability to initiate research works and supervise post-graduate projects and evidence of adequate scholarly publications in reputable outlets are required.

            iv.        Lecturer I (ACUTSS 04): N338,323.00 - 442,731.00
Same as for Senior Lecturer except that the candidate should have at least 3 years of teaching and (or) research experience. Evidence of scholarly publications is  also required.

            v.         Lecturer II (ACUTSS 03): N257,984.00 - 313,690.00       
                        A good honors degree and higher degree preferably a Ph.D. in  the relevant field from a recognized university. Candidate  with the Masters degree must have at least three years teaching and (or) research experience in a university or comparable institution.

            vi.        Assistant Lecturer (ACUTSS 02): N220,093 - 270,759.00
                                    A good honors degree and a masters degree in the relevant field from a recognized university. Candidates with 1st class honors degree  will be considered immediately for staff development.

C.         SABBATICAL PLACEMENT AND ENGAGEMENT OF RETIRED ACADEMIC STAFF
            a.         Academic staff not below the Senior Lecturer rank can apply for sabbatical placement in any relevant field.
            b.         Retired-but-active academic staff not below the Senior Lecturer grade can be considered for contract appointment.

D.         NON-TEACHING POSITIONS
            1.         REGISTRY
            i.          Senior Assistant Registrar (ACUNTSS 11): N312,221.00 - 442,731.00
A good honors degree plus a masters degree and at least three years experience as an Assistant Registrar. Candidates who possess a good knowledge of Management Information System (MIS) may be given advantage.

            ii.         Administrative Officer (ACUNTSS 08): N205,617.00 - 306,949.00
                                    A good honors degree from a reputable university plus at least 3 years post qualification experience.  A master degree will be an added   advantage.

            iii.        Confidential Secretary/Personal Assistant (ACUNTSS 9): N242,068.00 - 353,480.00
            The applicant must have first degree or its equivalent in secretarial study and have at least 5 years post qualification experience.  Other requirements for the position are excellent oral communication, writing and reporting skills, high proficiency on the computer (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc) and ability to use the internet.
           
            2.         UNIVERSITY LIBRARY
            i,          Library Assistant (ACUNTSS 3): N71,372.00 - 112,322.00
                        SSC with O'L Credit passes in Mathematics, English Language and three other subjects plus three (3) years experience.

            3.         FACULTY OF NATURAL SCIENCES
            i.          Science Laboratory Technology (ACUNTSS 7):N174,443.00 - 259,535.00
                        SSC or WASC plus Associates of the Institute of Science Technology (AIST) or H.N.D in the relevant discipline plus at least 3 years post                                   qualification experience.

            ii.         Assistant Technologist (ACUNTSS 4): N81,349.00 - N128,949.00
                        SSC or WASC plus or at least passes or O.N.D of City and Guilds or O.N.D in Laboratory Technology equivalent qualification in the relevant                                  discipline plus at least 2 years post qualification experience.

            4.         ACADEMIC PLANNING UNIT
            i.          Academic Planning Officer (ACUNTSS 13): N382,482.00 - 532,794.00
                        A PhD in Educational Planning, Economics or statistics with emphasis on Planning and at least 10 years cognate experience in academic                                     planning in the university system or related organizations. Applicants should have broad knowledge and understanding of the Nigerian tertiary                              education market and be computer literate . Holders of Master's degree obtained by research and with up to 8  years post qualification                          experience in Economics with Statistics, Econometrics, Development Planning or Mathematics/Statistics may also apply.
           
            5.         STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICE
            i.          Hall Warden (ACUNTSS 12): N345,332.00 - N485,832.00
                        Retired but active academic staff not below the Senior Lecturer grade and possessing not below the Masters degree.

            6.         BURSARY
            i.          Stores Officer (ACUNTSS 05): N99,975.00 - 157,977.00
                        Final Exam of Institute of Purchasing and Supply plus 3 years experience or O.N.D in Purchasing and Supply or Accounting plus one year                                   experience.

            7.         WORKS DEPARTMENT
            i.          Chief Technical Officer (ACUNTSS 13): N382,482.00 - 532,794.00
                                    Candidates should have a good degree or acceptable equivalent in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building or Quantity Surveying registrable with relevant professional bodies recognized by Federal Government of Nigeria.  Candidates should have at least fifteen (15) years experience in planning, design, execution and mangement of physical facilities out ofwhich a  minimum of five (5) years must be in a University or related system.  Possession of higher relevant qualifications will be an advantage.

            ii.         Technical Officer (ACUNTSS 07): N174,443.00 - N259,535.00
                        A good honours degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering (Civil) registrable with the Council of Grgistered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN)

            iii.        Craftsman (Electrical)(ACUNTSS 04): N81,349.00 - 128,949.00
                        At least Primary School Leaving Certificate with Government Trade Test Grade III or II in Electrical/Electronics.

            iv.        Senior Motor Driver-Mechanic Grade I (ACUNTSS 5): N99,975.00 - 157,977.00
                        Motor Driver/Driver-Mechanic possessing the Federal Ministry of Labour Trade Test Class I Certificate in the relevant trade plus at least three                          (3) years satisfactory post qaulification cognate experience.
           

            8.         HEALTH CENTRE
            i.          Principal Medical Officer (ACUNTSS 09): N382,482.00 - 532,794.00
                        MBBS degree and a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience including at lest 2 years at senior medical practitioner. Computer                            literacy is an advantage. Must be registered with MDCN.

            ii.         Medical Officer (ACUNTSS 09): N242,068.00 - 353,480.00
                        MBBS degree and at least two years post qualification experience. Must be registered with MDCN. Computer literacy is an advantage.

            iii.        Principal Nursing Officer(ACUNTSS 11):N312,221.00 - 442,731.00
                        NRN or SNR with NRN plus at least 12 years experience.

            iv.        Nursing Officer I (ACUNTSS 07): N174,443 - 259,535.00
                        NRN or SRM with SCM plus five years experience/B.Sc Nursing

            v.         Nursing Officer II (ACUNTSS 06): N134,079.00 - 205,577.00
                        NRN or SRM with SCM plus two years experience/B.Sc Nursing

                        Candidate should posses Association of Medical Records or Diploma in Medical Librarianship or equivalent qualifications. Candidates must be                      computer literate.

            vii.       Pharmacy Technician (ACUNTSS 05): N99,975.00 - 157,977.00
                        Candidate should have a good WAEC/NECO SSC or GCE O'Level plus certificate for Pharmacy Technicians from a School of Health                                              Technology. Knowledge of Computer will be an advantage.

            viii.      Health Attendant (ACUNTSS 02): N67,972.00 - 102,002.00
                        JSS or successful completion of Dispensary Certificate Course from School of Hygiene.

            9.         ICT CENTRE
                        Information Technology Systems Coordinator (ACUNTSS 11): N312,221.00 - 442,731.00
                        B.Sc Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum of 6 years working experience. In addition, candidates should                                 have good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 95 to date), good knowledge of IT industry advances and trands  is                 also required.

            10.        COMPUTER CENTRE
            i.          Manager, Computer Centre (ACUNTSS 08): N242,068.00 - 353,480.00
                        A good honors degree in Computer Science with minimum of 6 years relevant experience.
                        NOTE: In all instances, verifiable, professional, academic, moral and spiritual references are prerequisites.
