ACU STAFF HOLD FELLOWSHIP AT PERMANENT CAMPUS

On Monday, June 8, 2020, staff of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo had their usual fellowship at the permanent site of the University on Oyo- Ogbomoso road. The fellowship held in one of the halls at the upcoming campus, afforded d members of staff the opportunity to see the level of development on the campus where work began about six months ago.

The Vice-Chancellor. Rt. Rev. Professor Dapo F. Asaju used the thanked all staff who played different roles in the construction of the buildings in the place. He thanked people from the Architecture, Engineering, and works departments of the University for the roles they played in developing the campus. The VC, once again stated that the Faculty of Engineering, which currently operates from the Saint Andrew’s campus, would move to the new site after the lockdown. He said the proposed School of Basic Medical Science would also take off from that campus.

He announced that the Office of the Vice-Chancellor and those of other Principal Officers of the University would soon be moved to the permanent site. Many members of staff were happy with the rate of development at the place. The incident coincided with the birthday of the Registrar, Mrs. Adenike T. Fatogun. She cut her birthday cake, as the staff sang for and celebrated her. Prayers were said for the Vice-Chancellor, the Registrar and the entire University.
