On Thursday June 6, 2019, the Examinations Committee of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, organized a sensitization program for examiners and invigilators for the forthcoming examinations in the University. Here are some photographs of the event which was held at the Prof. Olajire Olaniyan Auditorium.
The Vice-Chancellor, Rt. Rev. Prof. Dapo F. Asaju told the invigilators that they must ensure that students do not cheat during exams. He said no student should be allowed to write any exam if he or she does not have clearance from the Bursary concerning payment, and from the dress code Committee. The Registrar, Hon. Mrs. Adenike T. Fatogun, said the onus lies on the invigilators to ensure that there is integrity in the process.
Dr. A. O. Binuyo, chairman of the Examination Committee, drew the attention of those in attendance to the staff handbook of guidelines and conduct of examinations for 2019, where acts that constitute examination malpractice are listed. Professor Ebenezer Olayinka, chairman of the Students Disciplinary Committee, told the examiners to ensure that all cases of examination malpractice is reported to the committee through the appropriate Chanel.
