TWO NEW PROFESSORS DELIVER INAUGURAL LECTURES

The sixteenth (16th) and seventeenth (17th) in the series of the University’s Inaugural Lectures have been held. Professor Michael Olalekan Olatunji, the Dean of Faculty of Education delivered the sixteenth Inaugural Lecture titled ‘Philosophy of Education as Sine Qua Non for National Development: The Nigeria Situation’ on Thursday, 11th June 2020 while Professor Paul Ayobami Akanbi of the Department of Business Administration delivered the seventeenth Inaugural Lecture titled ‘The Pains and Gains of Strategy: Swimming in the Ocean for Resolution’ on Thursday, 18th June, 2020. Both lectures took place in the Modupe and Folorunso Alakija Faculty of Law Auditorium and were well attended. The lectures were transmitted virtually via Zoom and the Ajayi Crowther University Radio 88.5 F.M. The seventeen inaugural lectures so far held by the University took place during the tenure of Rt. Rev. Prof, Dapo F. Asaju as Vice-Chancellor.
