UPDATE ON RESUMPTION FOR 2019/2020 SESSION

The University Management at its meeting today deliberated on preparations for the 2019/2020 session and observed that in view of ongoing admission exercise and renovation of hostels, there is the need to change the dates of resumption earlier announced.  Management then decided to review the resumption date for the 2019/2020 session and DIRECTED as follows:

A. NEW STUDENTS

  1. New students should now resume on Monday, September 23, 2019; for the registration exercise at the Faculty of Law Auditorium.
  2. Registration and Orientation start on that day and continue through that week.
  3. Lectures will start on Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
  4. New students are advised to visit the University website to familiarize themselves with the rules and regulations of the University and the dress code for students; as any student improperly dressed or with contraband items will not be allowed on campus.
  5. Students are to come along with the following documents:

(a.) Medical reports for:

  1. Full blood count
  2. Urinalysis
  3. Stool microscopy
  4. Blood group
  5. Genotype
  6. Digital chest X-ray with a Consultant Radiologist’s Report.

(b.) Evidence of payment of:

  1. First instalment of tuition fees
  2. First semester hostel accommodation fee

6. All new male Students are to be accommodated at Lagos hostel and new female students in Diocese of Lagos West and University Female Hostels. Students are to make a choice of hostels while the Students Affairs Office will allocate them to rooms.

B. RETURNING STUDENTS

  1. Returning Students are to resume on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 and commence registration immediately.
  2. Students must collect registration forms in the Faculty/HOD Offices for completion, endorsement and submission in the Faculty before going to register online.
  3. Lectures will start on Monday, October 7, 2019.
  4. Returning students are to come determined to obey University rules and regulations and dress code for students as the University will not tolerate indiscipline in any form from the students.
  5. Students are to come along with the following documents:

(a.) Medical reports for:

  1. Full blood count
  2. Urinalysis
  3. Stool microscopy
  4. Blood group
  5. Genotype
  6. Digital chest X-ray with a Consultant Radiologist’s Report.

(b.) Evidence of payment of:

6. All returning male students are to be accommodated at Joseph Adetiloye and Peter Jasper Akinola hostels and female students in Diocese of Lagos West and University Female hostels. The students are to make a choice of hostels while the Students Affairs Office will allocate them to rooms.

All new and returning students are welcomed for the 2019/2020 session and are wished travelling mercies to the University.
