Former NUJ Chairman pays courtesy visit to ACU

Lanre Arogundade, author and former chairman of Nigerian Union of Journalists (Lagos) is a yesterday paid a courtesy visit to the Vice- Chancellor. He is an alumnus of University of Ife(now Obafemi Awolowo University) just like the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Timothy Abiodun Adebayo. Lanre yesterday (19-4-23), paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Olumuyiwa Popoola was with the Vice-Chancellor when Arogundade came to present two of his books to the duo. The books are Breaking the Coconut with Your Head(Akowe’s Journey to student Unionism) (2022) and Media and Elections (Professional Responsibilities of Journalisit) (2019)

Mr. Lanre Arogundade said he was impressed with the quality of teaching in the University, which is why he decided to pursue his postgraduate studies in the institution.
