NEW NDLEA COMMANDER VISITS ACU VICE-CHANCELLOR

The new Commander of the Oyo unit of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Josephine Ruth Obi, yesterday paid a courtesy visit to Rt. Rev. Professor Dapo F. Asaju, the Vice-Chancellor of Ajayi Crowther University. The Vice-Chancellor thanked the new Commander for the support her unit has given the University in ensuring that there is zero-tolerance for drug abuse in the University. The  Commander also thanked the Vice-Chancellor for the University’s magnanimity in repairing the agency’s operational vehicles. She said the agency would soon begin random drug tests on students, to ensure that they do not engage in such deleterious practice. The Vice-Chancellor disclosed that the University has acquired the test kit, and would cooperate with the agency in carrying out the tests.

Some of the agency’s staff who came with their Commander include, Soyoye Olusegun, Okuwobi Mulia, Mangar Umar Namadi, Rebecca Chimayi, and Achichi Onjefu.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Jacob Adeniyi, and Deputy Bursar, Mr. Titus Ayanwale were on hand to receive the team with the Vice-Chancellor.
